It offers the case long PSU cover which allows users much easier cable management as you can’t see half the cables to begin with as the whole PSU is hidden. It has a lot of the same great features without all the flash. However, today I will be taking a look at the S340 which is a more budget friendly version of the H440 in my eyes. Like many NZXT cases, the S340 is available in a variety of colors. The question is whether it’s the former masquerading as the latter or the other way around. NZXT recently took the world by storm with their H440 case which was a massive crowd favorite, so much so that Razer had to join in the fun and help design a custom Razer H440. The Source S340 is perhaps their most intriguing SKU, straddling the border between flimsy US50 enclosures and more versatile and feature-rich US100 + models. Aside from cases, NZXT also offers all-in-one CPU Coolers, power supplies and a number of accessories included cables, fan controllers and LED lighting. Each of the expansion slot covers is held in with a thumb screw, allowing for quick and easy changes.

If you have heard of NZXT you are probably familiar with their Phantom series of cases and maybe even the Source series. The back panel of the NZXT S340 is pretty much the same as we saw on the outside.

Measuring at 17.5″ (445mm) high and 17″ (432mm) long, the S340 keeps your system’s footprint to a minimum while still supporting graphics cards up to 14.3″ long. NZXT includes captive thumb screws that allow you open the case without tools and stay attached so you don’t have to worry about losing them. In addition, the audio jacks are plated with steel. The top of the case has two USB 3.0 ports, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack. To further help keep your cables tidy, this case provides over twenty cable management points. This case offers a large interior space to house your components and a cable management bar that keeps your cables hidden away. It also supports optional 240mm and 280mm radiators so you can build an all-in-one liquid cooling solution. To help keep unwanted dust from entering the case, NZXT includes removable air filters. It has seven expansion slots and can house graphics cards up to 14.3″ long. For storage, it accommodates up to two 2.5″ drives and three 3.5″ drives.
The NZXT S340 supports mini-ITX, micro-ITX, and ATX motherboards. Offering a simple interior layout, the S340 has its power supply and 3.5″ drive bays compartmentalized at the bottom of the case with a sleek PSU cover.
Its left side panel has a window through which you can view your motherboard, CPU cooler, RAM, PCI cards, and 2.5″ drives. This case includes two 120mm fans and has a cable management bar that keeps your cables hidden from view.
